Never woulda guessed that a @wearephoenix show would be the setting for one of the biggest jump scares of my life, but a few songs after the dude in the...Venetian bauta mask?... appeared, Thomas Mars looked out into the crowd with binoculars that projected onto the giant screen. And then I saw me... and the guy in the mask literally RIGHT BEHIND ME. Instant paralyzing cold chill. And then the entire crowd was looking at him/kind of me under the bright house lights. I’ve literally had nightmares like this (minus the masks. Usually.) . (If anyone has a pic of that I would love to see it.
