LaPau Gallery is pleased to announce Síntesis De Ritmo by Sonido Sapo, a cassette mixtape and release by musician Dogtoad Eduardo Camacho. In Síntesis De Ritmo, Camacho explores the lineage of electronic instruments ranging from synthesizers to organs, in Mexico and Latin American music. Camacho highlights the usages of these instruments to showcase the wide range of artists and musical genres that electronic instruments are used, songs range from house, disco, tropical, banda, and cumbia from 1970’s to the present day. Within Síntesis De Ritmo, Camacho embeds his own produced tracks in the mix to continue to explore his own relationship to the music of Mexico and Latin and the ever-shifting canon of these sounds. This will be the official release of a music segment of the gallery’s program.
