Magical Mushroom · 23 Beak Street⁠ ⁠ The store's focal point is our mycelium desk, made by longterm Ffern collaborators @magicalmshroom and designed by @houseofgreylondon. This is the first of its kind in the world, a true experiment. Created in much the same way as Ffern's perfume bottle trays, mycelium was grown in moulds around waste from the timber industry, then kiln-dried to create light, strong panels. ⁠ ⁠ These panels have been fitted around a bespoke wooden frame to create a rounded shape that echoes the contours of the space.
