The first steps of the @clcboats teardrop camper build! After assembling a few puzzle pieces, including the form and all the long pieces, the form gets assembled. The body of the camper is made from thin plywood that is curved and held together with copper stitches at the seams until you add spot weld of CA glue and then remove the stitches. Epoxy and fiberglass tape is added to all the seams and epoxy fillets thickened with wood flour are added to any seam that isn’t flat. It’s a super interesting build process because it’s new for me and goes together just like a boat! #teardrop #teardropcamper #camper #woodworking #woodshop
