After being diagnosed with Cancer for a second time, I had to encounter so many things. One of the last things was an overwhelming amount of immunotherapy. However, the consequences of “guaranteeing” my life for the next stretch was losing nerve and muscular strength in my arms and legs, to the point that I found myself on vacation in New York not being able walk up a flight of stairs. Doctors were serious and told me it would be a while before things would be normal but they didn’t know how serious I was about to take it. I began swimming laps to gain muscle so that I could eventually run, I hired a physical therapist to coordinate every step of the way, I made sure I had the rest that I needed and was aware of what I was putting into my mind and body. And here it is, proof that once again, I beat the odds. 🥇🏁
