Amon: Thijs and I both share a stubborn love for electro (as in detroit circa 1980's) and take any opportunity to have it come out. when thijs came to my studio in LA for this particular session we were very much in this mood so we happily let our inner electro come out in 'Puma'. The name of the track, at least for me, has reference to my favorite shoes from the 80's when I was a young bboy scamp. I never did have the cash for them at the time so now have several pairs of puma g.vilas. not speaking for Thijs of course but he's younger than me and is more fond of actual pumas of which he has several raised from cubs.
