After a month to reflect i am still in awe over the support we received for an amazing evening in my beautiful hometown of Victoria, BC. I’ve always imagined teaming up with a local charity but I was waiting for the right organization and I couldn’t be more proud of the work we were able to accomplish this year with @powertogive . We hope @islandkidsfirst , @erikalegacy @foundry_bc @washingtonkidsfoundation and @power_to_be all feel the same way! There are so many people to thank - @ocieelliot one of my favorite bands and special local talent showed up and set the mood as only they can for a magical evening!✨ A very special thank you to good friends @wesleyschultz and @jeremiahfraites of @thelumineers. It really makes it easy to throw a fundraising event and garner interest when you have one of the best bands on the planet taking time out of their outrageous touring schedule to come lend their talent. Such special people to me and I will be forever grateful - they played our 300 person event like it was Madison Square Garden🎸❤️ I’m a massive foodie and I know I’m not alone in saying that everything @chefbkalman and his crew had going was insane!!! 🤯🤤 So many amazing people behind the scenes that made this come to life, Tim Cormode is a rockstar in his own right and this couldn’t have happened without him! Huge thank you to the Johnson family lending their beautiful home to give the perfect setting for this all to come together! @17blackevents bringing the whole vision to life!
