I am thrilled to announce my new role as Chanel Global Makeup Creative Partner. The 12 year-old Ammy who picked up a Kevin Aucoin book and started to play with her mother’s makeup, trying to replicate the looks after school, would have been incredibly proud of this moment. Make-up initiated as a game and developed into a vessel for self-expression and a tool to help others express themselves. Having the power of limitless creativity between my fingertips started a world of infinite dreams and a strong sense of freedom. Among my defining missions, broadening the conversation around beauty and diversity has always been dear to me and I am honoured to have the opportunity to amplify a much-needed dialogue on creating a more inclusive vision of beauty. Such a task calls for a strong team of collaborators and I am so happy to be part of the CHANEL COMETES COLLECTIVE along @Cecileparavina and @valentina1121li , two talented and inspiring artists bringing unique voices to the conversation. With us joining the CHANEL Makeup Creation Studio, I look forward to embark on an era where innovation exists without denying heritage. Gabrielle Chanel was a disruptive force that helped transform the very definition of style and beauty. It is an honour to bring my contribution to the legacy that she started more than a century ago.
