I’ve recently re-wrote my bio, for my website and I took some time to really think deeply of Why I choose food photography. It’s relevance to my life, where I come from and who I am! I always thought, it was just something I practiced, became good at it and that’s why I do it. But the truth is food has always been a huge part of my culture and my family! I grew up watching my grandmas and my mom always cooking, bringing everyone together and building memories around meals. A big part of why I love food photography is this! It’s my love of food and the memories that accompany it. It’s the ability to evoke a feeling of warmth and love from a photograph. My goal this year is to photograph more Mediterranean and Egyptian food.
