I’ve been getting some excellent cups of coffee with the v2 Steadfast brewer—the Swift—over the past few weeks. It’s an evolution of the v1 (Sweet) I started using earlier this summer and really enjoyed. This new version is designed specifically for very light roasted (Nordic style) coffee and fast flow rates. Some of my favorite things about the brewer have been: 👉 Geometry: The geometry of the brewer is a unique one. It is a pocket/trapezoid style brewer that is a mix between a flat bed and cone brewer—taking the best of both options. The wide base allows it to work with almost any cup or carafe too! 👉 Materials: The main body of the brewer is stainless steel. Usually the issue with metal is that it loses temperature quite quickly. The Steadfast brewer solves for this by adding the leather wrap that insulates the brewer and helps it maintain temperature. 👉 Durable: While the brewer is surprisingly lightweight, it is incredibly durable. Unlike glass or ceramic brewers, this won’t be breaking with a drop. The v1 leather shows some wear (which I actually don’t mine), but the v2 is even more durable with a scratch-free waterproof leather wrap. 👉 Server: The Steadfast has a new 500mL server that is heat-resistant, BPA- & Phthalate-free. It’s durable and fits perfectly with the Steadfast. My love of the Steadfast brewer has grown with this new v2 Swift @steadfast.kr brewer. It’s designed specifically for light roasts, find grind settings and fast flow rates (i.e. the majority of the coffee I drink/brew).
