Prior to taking these shots in Siem Reap, I thought I wasn’t going to be able to get any photos at all. Before arriving at the Enigmatic Bayon Temple, my camera had been in my bag inside the air conditioned hotel room, and when pulling out my camera it completely steamed up due to the heat and humidity. After a few panicked minutes we managed to climb inside some of the temple’s cave-like entrances and hide from the heat a little bit until the camera fog cleared. So here’s a tip: When in a hot and humid country, make sure you take your gear out of your bag well before you want to start shooting. I’ve also recently bought a bag full of silica gels to help absorb any extra moisture. What tricks have you used when shooting in crazy humid conditions? 🇰🇭
