An exhibition of paintings, sculptures, and works on paper produced by Cy Twombly will open at Gagosian, Beverly Hills, on this Thursday, September 15, from 6 to 8pm. Organized in association with the Cy Twombly Foundation, this show gathers art produced in the final decade of Twombly’s life. This weekend, a major feature on Twombly was published in the "Wall Street Journal," which explores the artist's love of classical antiquities and his collection of classical objects. Many of these objects are currently on view alongside Twombly's paintings, drawings, photos, prints and sculptures at the Getty Museum (@gettymuseum) in Los Angeles as part of "Cy Twombly: Making Past Present."
