A shout out to our cousin venue— Trader Sam’s— in the Polynesian Hotel in Walt Disney World. ⚡️🌴🗿🌸🌺✨The original designer of the Polynesian was none other than Welton Becket— who designed the original Pacific Seas! A good friend of Walt’s, Becket was asked to help him build Disneyland (nearly 20 years after Clifton’s!) but declined as he wanted to promote his own projects. He did however sign on to help Walt build his Florida Project— eventually designing the Polynesian and Contemporary resorts. Trader Sam’s— an homage to Walt’s passion for adventure — and all things Polynesian— is a great place to experience his sense of wonder, magic— and play. As is Clifton’s Pacific Seas!
