Eloisa and Louis. We used to walk to their house after school, watch Westerns and telenovelas, eat tortillas with butter, and do our homework. My mom says Grandma used to hit the vacuum against her door on Saturday mornings after late Friday nights. They loved each other very much and were married for many decades. My papa told the best stories and was the unofficial mayor of the neighborhood. They let the whole (huge) family live in their house, at one time or another. They threw great parties and everyone was always welcome. A true matriarch and patriarch. Knowing my great grandparents was a true blessing.
