For this 4th of July I’d like to uplift the relative Jason Goward. During the Line 3 pipeline fight he opened his home to hundreds of activists throughout the fight, never asking for help and he was always willing to allow people to shower and spend a night. Now Jason owes almost $6,000 for an electric bill. On their rez they have a tribal mandate that if a home is without water or power for so many days, it is considered abandoned, as such Jason could be displaced.
