Terrible at speeches and regulating my temperature but quite good at writing about the brilliant thirteen objects that make up @atelier100official’s Collection01. From the glossy wax-dipped hanging lampshade by @lola_lely that every living room corner deserves to the voluptuous tig-welded tubular chair made for gazing out the window by @andumasebo; there are sculptural doorstops inspired by fragments of London architecture dreamed up by @ylennonchong and modular candle holders made with brick and charcoal dust found in and around the city by @ninajuaklein; and of course @mitreandmondays’ arresting cobblestone and London Plane floor light that echoes the city’s built environment – both its parameters and its precarity.
