Welcoming Holly Graham (back) to Malaysia! Based in Hong Kong, Holly (@hollygrahamdrinks) is the Managing Editor of DRiNK Magazine Asia (@drinkmagasia); Academy Chair for both the World’s and Asia’s 50 Best Bars (@50bestbars); organised Speed Rack Asia in Hong Kong back in 2019; sits on the Education Committee for Tales of the Cocktail (@tales_of_the_cocktail); worked the bar at The Old Man when it ranked #1 in Asia; judged at the Singapore World Spirits Competition; is an Ambassador for the San Francisco Worlds Spirit Competition; AND is the founder of Asia Women in Booze, a community of leading women in the alcohol industry. Holly was ranked #26, #12 and #7 on the Bar World 100 List in 2020, 2021, and 2022 respectively. And just to round things off — she wrote a book: an actual book with words and pictures that you can hold. It’s fair to say her contributions to the Asian bar scene is almost unparalleled. Holly has embarked on a global tour over the past few months and she's finally coming (back!) to Malaysia, beginning with a workshop and bar shift at JungleBird (@junglebirdkl) on Sunday 16th October, followed by an appearance at Atas Speakeasy, Ipoh (@atasspeakeasy) on the 18th, and finally here at Backdoor Bodega, Penang on the 20th of October. Holly's book, ‘Cocktails of Asia’, will be available for purchase and signing at all of her stops in Malaysia, or if you already have a copy, make sure you swing by to meet the author and get that cheeky signature!
