🧀y post ahead, you’ve been warned hahahah I’ve slept a total of ~6 hours the last two days but I wouldn’t trade this job for anything! there are lots of late nights of editing, deadlines that all happen on the same date, and countless hours trying to check off a to-do list that keeps growing. but I’m grateful for it + I’m grateful for you! 🤍 working in social media was probably unimaginable just a few years ago. there are still some people who don’t get it (and I always get the inevitable blank expression when I tell someone what I do 🤪), but it really is just like any other job. challenging, rewarding, disappointing, joyful. what really makes it worth it is YOU. chatting with you in DMs and comments, hearing your stories about how you’re making your space home, and feeling supported + loved by you when I don’t feel that way towards myself.
