#PostPartumHairLoss was a whole life-changing moment for me. Through a really uncomfortable experience, came a new love for the #functional use of wigs. I had always added an extension or two for a glam effect, but at this point I had no choice BUT to wear wigs. No matter how I parted my hair, it would not cover the huge bald areas around my hairline. That meant no sew-ins, no clip-ins, no braids. I was shocked and devastated. I’ve been pretty open about talking through my experience, but I’ve never shown y’all the visuals.
