It’s here! Portal Governors Island opens TODAY in Colonels Row Building 408A. Presented by artist-led organization @4heads_nyc, Portal features eight emerging and mid-career artists whose work reflects a spectrum of artistic genre and media. Learn more about 4heads from Executive Director Jack Robinson in our new video feature, and do not miss their open studios this weekend. They’re open August 5 & 6 from 12-9pm and August 7 from 12-5pm. Through the unique Organizations in Residence Program, Governors Island Arts provides a platform for non-profit groups to reach a diverse and growing audience of engaged visitors, where collaboration is encouraged between participating organizations and space is provided to presenters free of charge.
