Step right up, ladies and gentlemen, and feast your eyes — and bellies — on @chelseamarketny’s Carnival of Culinary Curiosities! 🎪 Had tons of fun yesterday celebrating Chelsea Market’s 25th anniversary. 15th Street was packed with games, music, food, and fun. Shouts to our neighbors @doughnuttery for tempting us all day with delectable cider and donut smells (of course we had to partake!) and @seedandmill who are just the nicest, props to @lobsterplacenyc and @eatmeaty for cooking up a delicious storm, and thanks to @maosbao for generously handing out banana and Oreo baos in honor of Chelsea Market’s Nabisco origins (fun fact: the building that now houses Chelsea Market was originally a Nabisco factory). It was also an honor to meet Irwin Cohen, the original developer of Chelsea Market, and a pleasure as always to see Michael Phillips, principal and president of @jamestown.lp (who was the one who asked Pearl River to join Chelsea Market in the first place!). We appreciate you both for working so hard to create such a warm and welcoming community. Finally, much thanks to the Pearl River staff who put together a fun and lovely booth (led by our own @conscious_cooking) and kept customers happy with fun products and a try-your-luck Good Fortune Wheel, including @catalya26la (whose cute dad Cranston, who also works at Chelsea Market, stopped by 🥰) @asianmachete @maludimus @isaunavailable and more!
