Decolonizing our way, why can’t we also build an empire, an ethical one on our own terms? The are those who brought tea to Sri Lanka all those years ago probably never thought someone like me would start a business, and dream this big, but tables have changed. It’s never a simple matter, because this industry brings so much revenue to our nation, but it’s time we see more women and people of color owning pieces of the most consumed beverage biz in the world.
