Just a couple kids without their kids 😄 You know me.. I’m gonna keep it real 😂 so here it is. When I saw this dress I was like OMG I love! But when I tried it on my mind went crazy. “You’re a mom, don’t wear that.” “You’re not skinny enough for that yet, go workout” but “what will People say?” “Why haven’t you bounced back like xyz (comparing myself to other moms)” B walked in as my thoughts were hitting a new level of chaos 😂 and said you look incredible in that dress. But this didn’t stop my thoughts. Although, it did make me feel good to get a sweet compliment 😄 but my mind was still racing with self doubt. The truth is, nothing stopped my thoughts. Thoughts aren’t meant to be “stopped” - we can simply just remove our faith from them. Faith is what turns our thoughts into our own reality. So I decided to detach myself from the voice in my head and rocked the dress, doubts and all. And we had a beautiful date night.
