Walk With A Purpose Teen Mental Health Awareness When CDMHS student Patrick Turner died by suicide in January of 2018, he challenged his family, friends, and community to make the world a kinder more inclusive place. Since that tragic day, Patrick’s family has worked hard every day to make the changes he wished for. Patrick's Purpose Foundation is committed to awarding scholarships to high school seniors attending a community college or trade school, donating books to elementary schools on social emotional learning, placing buddy benches at schools, and fostering open conversations within the community about mental health and wellness. @patricks_purpose_foundation also holds an annual community walk (happening today) to raise awareness for mental health and current initiatives that Patrick's Purpose Foundation is focused on, while also celebrating Patrick’s birthday (this is his 21st) and his life 💙
