This is the underwater robot I got to help operate on my recent #deepsea expedition with @mbari_news. The big camera that’s just to the left of me in this photo is the main science camera I operated - focusing in on amazingly weird #deepseacreatures each day. Having an #ROV of this size allowed the team to pack a ton of awesome technologies onboard. I’m actively editing several hours of footage from the #expedition so that I can share just how amazing of an experience this was with all of you in a few weeks time.
