“You know if you stop training so much you won’t be able to keep up...” Is what I told myself I lied to myself I assumed that would be the truth And I was so wrong. Here’s what I learned. Stopping full time CrossFit and switching to my 4x a week new program is working. By balancing strength and conditioning and applying simple principles in progressive overload and recovery, I’m able to stay fit, strong and athletic in my late 30s. This weekend we had a packed schedule at @foundersonly.club Friday 2pm train at muscle mountain Saturday 6:30 departure 7am hike mount morrison 10am sound bath 12 pm Hyrox workout 3pm @upswell_studio yoga class Sunday 9am the hardest Mile I do not typically burn 5000 calories in a day. And Saturday I did. 😅 I was not nervous going into the weekend. I love these types of gatherings. I was excited to see how I could hold up with my new program. Now I’m excited to get back to work. Sunday I was tired. Yesterday I rested. Today we get back to training. You don’t need more time to train You’d benefit from moving with purpose and intention. Would you keep up? I hope so. Which area of your programming do you want to see more success? ⬇️
