A Paris adventure is never complete without a stop at @relaisdelentrecote! They only serve a single meal: A small green salad with a Dijon dressing and toasted walnuts followed by heavenly plates of steak frites. When you sit down, they ask you how you’d like your steak (although they will judge you if you go above à point aka medium-rare 😉) and what you’d like to drink (the house wines are very good!), and then the fun begins. The steak, swimming in a magical herb sauce, and piping hot, crispy French fries are carried out on silver platters and plated in front of you. And just when you think you’re done...they hit you with round 2. You do get to choose dessert, but if you don’t get the vacherin chocolat—layers of meringue with coffee and vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce—you’re doing yourself a disservice... __ There are a few locations in Paris, but I tend to favor the Saint-Germain location, mostly because it’s a few blocks from my old apartment, so I get my steak frites with a side of nostalgia. ❤️
