1. Train yourself to let go by not sweating the small stuff. Everyday, choose peace over pain by letting things go like when someone cuts you off in traffic or when a coworker is late to a meeting. Letting the small things go can help you learn how to let the big things go too.
2. Meditate daily to process your emotions. Let go of all stories and narratives and just allow yourself to feel all your emotions to be able to let them go. The only way to release emotions is by feeling them.
3. Write your thoughts in a journal as a way of releasing them properly. Overthinking can lead to stress and anxiety. Release excess energy by letting go of unhelpful and unhealthy thoughts.
4. Lift everything to God in prayer. Allow the Holy Spirit to transform your heart and change your toxic traits and habits. Let go of yourself completely by submitting and surrendering yourself to God.
5. Choose your soul over your ego. Your ego loves to attach to selfish desires while your soul works on choosing what’s best for the greater good of all beings. When you choose your soul, you are choosing God.
