‘miu’ release became 1 year ago the other day. it meant an inflection point and triggered an era of light in this music project. a year after, I still have much to thank to @subrogado , @llucruc , @margazkilari , @alexzuaz @theplanaguma , Quim Boix and @primaveralabels . this video was recorded in all sort of adverse conditions, and no one in that team had a bigger reason to stay in the shooting than the belief in this potential video and the friendship with one another. after aprox. 60 hours of wait in two different farms we were discussing if we should still stay waiting or we should leave the farm, because big part of the team had inescapable stuff to do the next morning in Barcelona. @subrogado , director of the video, said that if everyone had to leave he could still stay with me and record and illuminate everything himself. luckily two cows gave birth before we had to split and that didn’t need to happen, but him saying that made me proof once again that he is a crazy person and that he respects/loves me a lot. I think good pieces of art come from being a bit insane, it’s not about money it’s not even about your reputation or popularity it’s something else, and this video by Anxo Casal is one of those pieces.
