Abstract masc cut for @homotheody L approached me wanting to do something abstract with their hair, they had come out as Trans masc non binary, and wanted to evolve their look to a more masculine scale. They gave me free reign, and when i pitched my idea they were stoked! So we got working on it. I recently completed my idea of a full scissor kit, adding a 5 inch @excellentedges Fuji to my collection. I would have struggled to cut these tight sections with my 6.5s, so I have to say, broadening your tool kit will inspire you and push your cutting much further ✂️ as always I coloured and styled with @evohair and @evopro L did some awesome makeup on the day which scared the life out of everyone in the salon. But I absolutely love this look on a personal level, being a huge fan of black metal and the ICP lead juggalo look of the 90s. Again it’s set another cutting benchmark for me, adding abstract micro precision to my cutting skills menu, and re visiting androgyny which I have always loved incorporating into my work The reason I started hairdressing was to help people look and feel like the best version of themselves, I hope this haircut helps L feel more comfortable in their own body and gives them the confidence they deserve! 😍
