If you had told me years ago that my curls would look like this , healthy , luscious, beautiful or that little zee would grow into this beautiful woman that no longer doubts herself , that no longer spends hours frying her hair or, in the salon applying chemicals to remove my beautiful curls or denying herself joy for fear that my straightened hair wouldn’t hold up in the heat or the water 💦 .
