Running became a passion of mine from a young age. I trained daily in the pursuit of some big goals & I saw the benefit that came from hard work & dedication. In many ways training has been a consistency for me in my life. I’ve been able to rely on it to have structure, accountability, seek validation with constant milestones & it’s been something to fall back on when other areas of my life feel off balance. I’m now not just an athlete but also a mother, business owner & coach. Life is far more meaningful but less simple. You know what I mean right 🙋🏼‍♀️ In recent times I’ve had to find my way back to training post having my son, multiple ectopic pregnancies & surgeries. It’s been hard to regain the motivation that I once had as my baseline. But the desire to rebuild my strength, body awareness and balance my hormonal health - are huge drivers for me!! Every time my body has changed, whether from having Beau or surgeries, I felt as though I was starting from the beginning again. That reality was challenging, humbling and kind of exciting. This feeling of ‘starting again’ is a common experience. We see it often in our @her_trails tribe. Our mission at Her Trails is to get women back on their feet and out on the trails. To do this, we have created a single port-of-call to build your skills for trail running and adventurous pursuits. Whether this is your first exposure to the trails, you are returning to running after having a baby or you want to build towards a 10km - our new program is for you!
