I debated sharing this poem, as it is quite sad, but I felt keen on speaking upon it. The holiday season isn’t always romantic. It can be a time of gloominess, loneliness, and a sharp edge of feeling lost. I have many things in this life to be thankful for, but I also have felt hollowed out and completely lost. I’m learning to accept that two contrasting feelings can live amongst one another at once, and both be valid at the same time. I know the holidays aren’t easy for everyone, for whatever personal reason there may be, so I am sharing my words of self-loathing with you today in hopes they may find you, and reassure your spirit that no, you’re not alone. Take to your own personal garden—whatever it may look like. 💐🕊️🪴
