Three days and approximately 100 meaningful contacts made in North Park and Hillcrest this week to individuals experiencing homelessness. More than a dozen agencies participated in this week’s Coordinated Outreach event. These events are occurring in areas throughout the city twice a month, in addition to outreach teams working daily to connect with individuals. They provide a concentrated approach to getting folks the services they need to get help. Services offered include shelter placements, medical care, assistance with benefits and securing documents needed for housing, and more.
