Dr. Bin Salih Hafiz today paid a courtesy call on the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Wa, Most Reverend FRANCIS BOMANSAAN, M.AFR. The visit was to congratulate the Bishop for that religious feat gained in service to God and humanity. The regional minister in his speech referenced his friendship with the Diocese and the Bishops which makes it a necessary of his visit to ensure the friendship continues with him taking over to help serve his religion, our community and humanity. Dr Bin Salih referenced the important role the church has played and will continue to play in development of Wa and the Upper west region. Dr Bin Salih used the opportunity to request of the Bishop to pay some keen attention to the new enemy of the youth which is drug abuse, also requested of him to pray for the government of the day to achieve for our general good and also to pray for the NPP party as it mans up to rebuild for power yet again. The reverend in his brief response thanked the former minister, referencing also his few visits to Wa before taking this role which gave him an impression of the honourable and humble man Dr Bin Salih Hafiz is and today’s engagement reaffirms that thought and what he’s always been informed of on what he ( Dr Bin Salih) does for the church and community. He pledged to ensure a rehab of our town in dealing with drug abuse in our youth that posses a danger to us all. Also promised to keep the honourable former minister in prayers to continue to be blessed with good health and wisdom to share with them all what helps build. Dr Bin Salih handed over to him some library 📚 of his books written using his thesis topic and others. The Bishop as well gave the honourable minister and entourage his brochure. With Dr Bin Salih was Alhaji Jangu, the chairman of NPP patrons in the region. Also with Chief Anyaa , a member of patrons and Dr Yeboah.
