Just hold on we’re going H )’( M E Returning to the gates of the inner Queendom, a place of remembrance. Who am I? Why am I here? Burning Man holds a special place in my Heart. Most of my best friends know me as their “best friend who went to burning man for the first time in 2014, who never really came back”. Thats the power of the Burn. I went to my first burn in 2014, when I had just turned 20, after hearing about a special that was NOT a festival, but rather a gathering celebrating art and colorful culture and community. My dear friend Tyler, who invited me to this secret gathering, didn’t end up getting a ticket and sure enough there I was beginning a journey into the unknown. Sweet friends who I met at LIB just months before, invited me to camp with Beats Boutique, ironically enough a camp from Vegas (where I was born and raised). Ever since my father passed away tragically and unexpectedly in 2013, his Spirit always guides me. The synchronicities began to unfold as my father’s Spirit lead me to this gathering that would forever change my life. Pretty wild how the divine downloads came through so quickly ~ my father’s initials (Bill Meyer) are the same as Burning Man, and ultimately I knew I had to answer the call to this mysterious place. The Temple, as for many, has deeply held me. I have wept, mourned the loss of life and really felt the depths of my pain in the Temple. My sweet fathers ashes have been with me at every burn & have returned deep into the Earth during the temple burn (which this year I will be placing his ashes in a sacred ⚱️ in the Temple & will return to remove them before the burn). 8 years later ~ the Burn has changed my life in profound ways and has truly invited my Spirit to fly Freely ~ Of course there have been many physical & emotional challenge times in the desert 🏜 but it’s all worth it. Sometimes it’s hard to articulate in words how special the burn is,unless you’ve been there, riding freely getting down and dusty. I am jumping with JOY knowing I get to return Home this weekend with my beloveds from all around the world! See you on the dance floor & when the Sun begins to rise just over the desert Horizion 💕
