Yes, it’s finally happening! I’ve moved to a shop front in Collingwood! 🥰 I’m currently setting up an interactive space for Chantelle Lucyl and ultimately sharing it with other local artists who want to establish a physical presence away from the digital world within the local community. I miss people. You know, I miss the conversation- I miss the interaction, it’s one thing I love about my work that I’ll get to experience more of: is witnessing the empowerment and somewhat child-like curiosity my garments bring to the wearer and that’s something I hope to continue to inspire in all of you, is that curiosity. I’m so excited and scared at the same time, who knows what this shop will bring but I do believe in my heart it’s going to be a magical/sensual experience and I hope to share it and expand it out to other artists who crave a physical space so do reach out to me via email and we can discuss it from there. I’m looking for painters, writers, dancers, tattoo artists, photographers, product designers, footwear, sex positive artists, film makers, DJ’s - you don’t have to be in fashion, this space is about connecting the correlation between different mediums to bring all aspects of community together through live workshops and evening events. I think I’m stressing him out 🤭 cause he wants to think about it and assess it and I’m like no it’s gonna work let’s just do this and try that! lol the dynamic is great. Thank you dad 🥲 seriously.
