All Star Bingo benefitting the Justin Turner Foundation. ☀️ From @court_with_a_k: I had this crazy idea to host a Bingo fundraiser to benefit the @jtfoundation10. If you don’t already know, I’m originally from Indiana where Bingo is practically a way of life. I proposed my plan and to my surprise it was selected as an event for MLB All Star Week! Bingo at the Beach was born. Wow. I was able to share a game I grew up playing with so many people that mean so much to our foundation. The event was packed with sponsors, supporters, friends, celebrities, MLB executives, Dodger employees, beneficiaries and a whole lot of nervous, competitive energy. It seems wild to get emotional about something as simple as a bingo tournament at the beach but it’s so much more than that. It’s about the people that responded “I’ll be there!” without hesitation. A room full of people that would honestly show up no matter what the event. Witnessing our foundation grow over the past 6 years has been nothing short of incredible. I had to pinch myself when I walked around and saw everyone laughing, smiling, bonding, sweating over their numbers and just simply making memories all in the name of making a difference for children and veterans and Angelenos in need. A HUGE thank you to MLB, our celebrity Bingo callers, Dan Halem, Lon Rosen, all of our supporters and volunteers that helped me pull off my Midwest to California dream.
