Highlights from my visit to @sloanmotors, a long-standing mecca for air-cooled Porsches based in Fairfield, Connecticut. Folks who have flipped through any Porsche magazine will remember the iconic full-page ads run by Sloan Motors over the past few decades. After chatting with Brett Sloan over the past few years, I finally made the visit with my good friends @tedward_ig and @d_bam. Some of my favorite examples in Brett’s inventory included a 964 C2 restomod repainted in Porsche’s Olive Green Metallic (an ‘09 Cayenne color), a 964 Turbo 3.3 in Amethyst Metallic with Magenta leather, a 993 Turbo S in Arctic Silver Metallic, a 993 Targa in Guards Red with just over 4,000 original miles, and a 930 in Chiffon White. And these are just the ones I can remember off the top of my head.
