Just so as Deborah @rainydaybites announced this month’s cookbook, here is my very first suggestion from the fabulous @jose_pizarro #thespanishhomekitchen #cookbook . Sobrasada Toast with Manchego and Honey. This suggestion calls for Patatera but, as I couldn’t find any and I have beautiful @brindisaspanishfoods Sobrasada at home, that’s what I’ve used. Good slightly stale sourdough bread is fried on each side in a little olive oil until golden. Patatera or, in this case, Sobrasada, is thickly spread over the toasted bread, scattered with shaved Manchego cheese and drizzled with honey. As @jose_pizarro described it: Simple but exquisite 😋😋😋.
