I don't like telling people no 🤪 What do you do?? This is what I do ⬇️ It's important to let our clients know what to expect and what you're willing and not willing to do. First, when a client goes darker they do have to wait 2 weeks to decide if they really like it or not. Second, I always use a demi. Third, I usually won't go darker than a 6 for the first time but if the client really wants it, it's their call. But when this happens, I am unwilling to lighten hair until it fades or I will use a detox or something like @malibucpro crystal gel to lighten it as much as possible without harsh chemicals. Once the hair is faded enough that I feel a wet balayage with some @k18hair will allow me to lift easily with limited banded, then I'll do it. Another option it to gradually add dimension back with a low volume developer over the course of several visits.
