Photos from my first solo show entitled “SHADOW BOX”. The inspiration for these came from a dream I had. I basically walked into a huge room with an audience, and there was someone on stage with boxing gloves seemingly waiting for me. I started walking up to the stage and then boxing gloves appeared on me as well. Me and this figure started sparring. I didn’t recognize the person; Maybe the person I was boxing was myself and the battles I was facing. I don’t really remember how the match went, so these photos represent how I’d imagine it played out. Photos will be on view at @matblaknewyork until August 21st and are available for purchase.
