Ah, books! What trusty friends! Here are my reads of the year. Usually I go book by book throughout the year, but this time I thought I’d be more concise and do one big post. So many good reads. My top three this year were Olga Tokarczuk’s Books of Jacob, Jonathan Franzen’s Crossroads, and Liu Cixin’s Three Body Problem. Not included here is a rereading of War and Peace that was very enjoyable and Yan Lianke’s The Day the Sun Died, which I’m finishing.
