✨ Client Feature: Ela ✨ When and why did you start doing pilates? A: First time I ever did pilates was just over a year ago, and it was love at first sight! Ever since I can remember, I had sever hyperlordosis and issues with my right hip. Although I have done sports since young age, nothing seemed to help heal my back - it actually progressively got worse to the point that my lower back was constantly in pain. When I started during pilates with Eugena, she really listened to my concerns and taught me how to listen to MY body. She approached every session with such care and comfort, truly helping me heal my back. Nowadays, pilates is my escape and my happy place. I always look forward to our sessions (and group classes now!) because you never stop learning with pilates! What do you enjoy the most about pilates/the studio? A: First things first, I love that BE. is an all-female team. These ladies are always so warm and welcoming, it’s impossible not too feel good in their presence. Secondly, the studio is such a peaceful and open space. Equally inviting if you’re a regular or a newbie! Thirdly, as I already mentioned, pilates is my happy place. Even if I had the hardest day at work, I know as soon as I step into BE. I’ll be smiling from ear to ear - ready to try something new and exciting. Your favourite group class! A: Oh, that’s a tough one. I personally love a good, hard workout so I’d have to say either Core Flow or Lean and Tone. I love walking out of the studio after a group class looking like my soul has left my body lol 😂 In all seriousness, if you still haven’t, definitely try Core Flow and Lean and Tone - I promise you’ll feel 100x better after!
