Had a lovely afternoon yesterday at @cheekwood. 🎄 I saw the exhibit ‘Glamour & Style: Photography from the Golden Age of Cinema’ with work by George Hurrell (who took the photo of Dorothy Lamour, 1936), Louise Dahl-Wolfe (who photographed model Lisa Fonssagrives in Hattie Carnegie’s King Tut Hat, 1946), Barbara Morgan and W. Eugene Smith. The mansion itself is a work of art. Designed by Bryant Fleming, construction began in 1929 and the Cheek family moved in for the 1932 holiday season.
