This is the end of “Tired of Being Happy”. At this point, I’ve shut off the click and I just kind of let ‘er rip. There’s a lot of straightening out what would be swung eighths. I’m hitting high up on the shoulder of the ride cymbal near the bell, so there’s still some of that bell sound, but more volume and wash. And I’m playing just all the ghost notes on the snare drum. All leading up to this big epic ritardando at the end. This song has had a few different endings over the years, and this one is my favorite.
