Visiting Jamaica 🇯🇲 this week ,UK 🇬🇧 Armed Forces Minister, James Heappey reinforced our shared commitment to the security of the Caribbean and discussed continued cooperation on disaster relief, countering serious and organised crime, and force development. 🇬🇧 🇯🇲 • Minister Heappey discussed our defence partnership with 🇯🇲 Chief of the Defence Staff, RAdm Antonette Wemyss Gorman. The UK Armed Forces regularly trains with the Jamaica Defence Force and assisted in the creation of the @JDFSoldier Initial Officer Training Programme.
