Thank you to the Nike team and the South Side YMCA for extending the huge opportunity to redesign the Y’s basketball court. It was so special to see people gather, move, and play on a design that I made(!?) I’m so grateful to have been invited to participate in this amazing project and can’t wait to visit this space for years to come. I also got to design some shirts that were worn by the amazing kids who participated in the basketball clinic after the unveiling of this space. Still so overwhelmed and honored by my small involvement in the celebration around the WNBA ASW, and the incredible youth and community in this city.
