I know that literally everyone loves this film (obvs, it’s the best film ever) and everyone who knows me knows I’ve literally been waiting for 2022 so I could pitch this. Because to be honest, for South-Asian girls growing up in Britain, Jesminder was the only sporting role model from the same background/who looked like them... And she’s a fictional character. (!!!)
