Many new followers has joined this last month (YAY) and I thought I’d do a little introduction to this profile! ❤️ My name is Marie and I’m a documentary photographer from Denmark. I’ve studied photojournalism at @dmjxphoto and @icp and just released my first book ‘Feminin’ @forlagetgyldendal and made portraits for a book about breast cancer ‘Re:konstruktion’ @gads_forlag . My work the last couple of years has been revolving around body image, feminism, eating disorders and sexual identity. I do exhibitions, books, and a whole lot of talks both in Denmark and internationally. I have a huge burning desire to talk about the things in society that are taboo. I myself suffer from OCD and know that I would’ve gotten so much better help as a young teen struggling with anxious thoughts, if mental health hadn’t been a taboo! I’m going into the next year and finally ready to start a new reportage after having put so much focus on my books the last years.
